San Miguel de Allende

Last Weekend we went to the state Guanajuato approximately 11 away from Monterrey. There is this more or less little town called San Miguel de Allende. It was supposed to be an all-inclusive trip. Many Mexicans and foreigners from the TEC and the UDEM, the two biggest private universities from Monterrey, were participating and all in all, with had a great time. There were this little complications with hotel reservations departure time and club cover but anyways if you got used to the Mexican way of living and if you can understand their values and norms you can handle it. So we did so and had a great time as usual... The hotel was sweetass with a pool and very close to the center. Many of our friends were in the same hotel and that's way we had a nice Saturday night start-up drinking party in the room of Pauline. After that we were keen on going out together but I fell asleep... and missed a hell of a party. Just check out the pics and for you guys, keep on pimpin' as usual.......

El dià de la independiencia en Zacatecas

16 of September is the Independence Day in Mexico. We thought that we won’t spend this very special day here in Monterrey and we took off to Zacatecas, a colonial village 6 hours away from Monterrey. Thursday night our trip begun. Friday, we arrived very early at our hotel. Thibaud and myself went to sleep for a couple hours to load our batteries for the coming night, while the other part of our group took a walk. During the afternoon we discovered the village and Friday night we ended up in the mine, La club mina, according to the bellhop, it’s the only club in a mine in the world. I can tell you folks, we had great expectations and it was simply breath taking. To enter the mine we had to take a train for about 800 meters to get insight the mountain. We arrived early and could save us 3 tables very close to the dance floor. Saturday, there was a little bit sightseeing and chilling on the top of the agenda. At 12 pm we witnessed a tremendous fire work and all the people were screaming: VIVA MEXICO CABRONES…. Sunday, all of us were pretty hung-over. But even though we were keen on watching a bullfight and ended up in a bullfight arena. It was kind of brutal, in 2hours 6 bulls were killed.

Sightseeing with the "french-conection"

We went with the "Teleferico" made in Switzerland ( Los cabinas y equipo de operaciones y control son de origen suizo, lo que garantiza la plena seguridad de su funcionamiento) on the top of a hill where a museum is located.

Because that I'm so far away from my family in Switzerland, I had to find my self a new one. And well, search and you will find... My roommates are my new family. from left to right: Steve from Canada, Artur and Riton from France, Me from Switzerland, David from Mexico, Beni from Austria and Antonio as well from Mexico. There is as well a little sister but unfortunatelly she's not on the picture. Bytheway, her name is Ice and she's from Holland.

Tja, armer Antonio....

3 weeks ago I arrived in MTY. With luck, I've found a very nice house close to my University. Its actually more like a Mansion, 3 flors, 2 vast terrazes, a garten with a fireplace etc... Obviously, I share the house with 6 other guys but fortunatelly I've got my own room. Anyways, a video will follow soon. (My friend Jeeves from Australia, when he saw our house for the first time, said:" sweet as Baby!!....."

Then one week ogo we wanted the celebrate our lucky hand and organized a inauguration.
Just to tell you a long story short, 150 people on 2 terrazes with 100 litres beer, the Police and the whole program.... see yourself...

JM, Jeeves, Matt and 3 other dudes....

The 3 Italian girls from Milan, Irene, Emanuela and Irenita...

ohne Worte..

La poli esta llegando....

Irenita y Lena...

Monterrey.... There you are...

Finally I 've found the time to creat this blog and share my impressions with you. For all of you who haven't seen me in a while, there is the solution of the riddle where is Adrian.... I'm in Monterrey, a medium sized city which is located in nord, nord-east of Mexico, Approximately 12 hours away from Mexico-city (Car). I'm participating in a exchange programm and doing a semester in the country ful of Mariachis, beautyful beaches and loads of Tequila. I would prefere to finish my studies here in Mexico but unfortunatelly this is not even an option and that's why I'il be back before christmas...
